Advanced Chinese – Speaking and Writing I

CHIN 445 (3 credits) (3hrs/week)

Present yourself in Chinese. CHIN 445 is an advanced Chinese course for heritage students focusing on polishing students’ speech writing and presenting. The course shifts from daily conversation to formal public speech language aiming to systematic introduction to public speaking skills; three rounds of speech practice; one round of impromptu speech; basic knowledge and techniques of argumentative composition; and five to six argumentative composition assignments. This course corresponds with the ACTFL Advanced-High Level Language Proficiency.
